Q: How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

A: As soon as you have a firm date in mind. It is best to call and book the maximum number of seats you need. We will accept reservations until 2 hours prior to departure times.

 

Q: What is Columbia River Journeys cancellation policy?

A: Individual Reservations require a 48 hour notice of cancellation. Any seats not canceled 48 hours prior to trip will be charged full fare. Group reservations with 15 or more people require 14 days notice. Any group reservations not canceled 14 days prior will be charged 50% of the fare.

 

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

A: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Personal checks and travelers checks are gladly accepted if they are mailed and made payable to Columbia River Journeys and received at least 7 days prior to tour date.

 

Q: Can I reserve the front seat on the boat?

A: Sorry, no reserved seating. All seating is first come, first served.

 

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: Call us toll free at 1-888-486-9119 or use our on-line reservation system to place your reservation. When calling, please be ready with your contact information, number of adults, number of children (ages 4-11) and number of infants along with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card to hold your reservation.

 

Q: When is the Jetboat season?

A: Columbia River Journeys operates jetboat tours May 1st – October 15th. Special group tours are available both before and after these dates weather dependent.

 

Q: Are there any age restrictions for children?

A: No, there are no age restrictions.

 

Q: How early should we arrive to check-in?

A: We ask that all passengers check in 15 minutes prior to a trip.

 

Q: Wheelchairs — Can you accommodate passengers in wheelchairs?

A: Yes. The wheelchair must be foldable and the individual must be able to get on and off of the boat with the assistance of an aide or companion. If making reservations online, please specify in the “Comments” box if anyone is handicapped and the nature of the handicap. We will make special arrangements where possible and will advise if there are any issues.

 

Q: Do I need a lifejacket for my child?

A: Our boats are inspected by the USCG and no one of any age is required to wear life jackets. We do however provide lifejackets for all passengers and have smaller ones that fit infants and children.
