About Us

The Company

Columbia River Journeys, LLC is now owned and operated by Mike White. The company was acquired in April 2011, however the company was founded and has operated on the Columbia and Snake Rivers since 1996 by it’s former owners.

We are commited to providing excellent services before, during and after your tour. Our goal is to provide you with a memorable experience, that you will share with your friends and family and perhaps return for another tour yourself.

We currently operate with our main tour boat, the Chinook Wind, and have added a second boat the Arid Breeze, allowing for smaller groups to experience the wonders of our waterways, as well as custom tours.

The company has logged well over 100,000 miles on the Reach, and our drivers each have over a decade of experience navigating these waters and hosting our tours. VIP passengers have included Washington Governor, Gary Locke; Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich; Secretary of Energy, Bill Richardson; Secretary of the Interior, Bruce Babbitt, Vice-President Al Gore, as well as many local figures.
